I am a Funeral Celebrant who believes in celebrating the life lived.

 

I am interested in people’s stories and every individual life has a story. 

 

Working closely with families and friends of the deceased, and liaising with funeral directors and other professionals, I help to create a personal and meaningful funeral service that fits the life and character of the person who has died, and respects the wishes of those left behind.

 

A thoughtfully planned funeral can offer peace and comfort to the bereaved, and provide a space to commemorate the deceased with sensitivity and compassion. It can also help the start of the healing process.

 

As an independent celebrant I do not conduct religious or humanist ceremonies. However, I am happy to include any religious, spiritual or cultural elements that feel appropriate. 

 

I have a particular empathy for families whose lives have been impacted by alcohol addiction.
